Hello, nice to meet you. My name is xxx. I come from Hebei province.I am a studengt of Nanjing Agricultural University ,major in ecology. My hobbies are varied from inspanidual to group activities. Such as swimming,running,snooker and so on. The main reason of applying to be Olympic volunteer of 2008 is that I think this will be my unforgettable and great experience in my whole life. This is the first time to hold the Youth Olympic Games in china, for every Chinese person, this Olympic game is very important and memorable. Besides, Olympic Games will be held in Nanjing. As a citizen of Nanjing, I feel very proud. Although I am only a graduate, I think that I must actively contribute to the Youth Olympic Games. Unnumbered people want to be Olympic volunteers, but they have no opportunities. I am so lucky that I am a graduate, and I have opportunity to work for Olympic. My heart tells me that I cannot lose this great opportunity. I have geographical conditions that I live in Beijing and I study in Beijing. I have no reason to give up this opportunity to be Olympic volunteer. Furthermore, I can learn and get exercises in many respects, for example, my language skills, communication skills, association skills and ability to deal with matters of sudden urgency. All in all, this experience has great influence on my future life and I have a lot of confidence.

我叫xxx，現(xiàn)于上海xx大學(xué)法語(yǔ)系就讀，現(xiàn)在是中國(guó)20xx年上海世博會(huì)展示中心的專職講解員。
來(lái)到展示中心已經(jīng)有一年的時(shí)間了，曾經(jīng)我也是一名展示中心的志愿者，其實(shí)我一直把自己當(dāng)做一名志愿者。志愿者有責(zé)任感、有使命感;不求回報(bào)、無(wú)私奉獻(xiàn)。工作了，雖然有人會(huì)說(shuō)，每個(gè)月也拿一樣的工資，做多做少都一樣。但是，每天為觀眾多介紹一些，看著他們期盼世博的眼神，我就能明白這不是一件單調(diào)乏味的事情。
很榮幸在展示中心開(kāi)館一周年之際，我被評(píng)為了“金牌講解員”。一年來(lái)接待了像荷蘭王國(guó)經(jīng)濟(jì)部部長(zhǎng)、馬里共和國(guó)文化部部長(zhǎng)以及南京軍區(qū)正軍級(jí)首長(zhǎng)和揚(yáng)州市市委書記等vip、領(lǐng)導(dǎo)。但印象最深的還是為一位盲人小女孩講解，我將她的雙手放在每件展品上讓她觸摸，她是在用心參觀。當(dāng)講到海倫·凱勒的故事的時(shí)候，我清晰地看到她眼中的執(zhí)著和光芒……我想，這正是我工作價(jià)值的所在。
工作中，我也有一些缺點(diǎn)，比如太過(guò)浮躁。在講解過(guò)程中，一旦現(xiàn)場(chǎng)觀眾過(guò)多或者不遵守秩序，很容易激動(dòng)，有時(shí)甚至影響講解質(zhì)量。為此我也在好好反思，爭(zhēng)取在工作中耐心、細(xì)心、熱心，只有這樣才能更好地奉獻(xiàn)世博。
現(xiàn)在我最大的愿望就是好好工作，明年進(jìn)園區(qū)服務(wù)世博、參與盛會(huì)，不論是以志愿者的身份還是以工作人員的身份。相信，在20xx年10月31日晚上，中國(guó)向全世界宣布我們舉辦了一屆成功、精彩、難忘的世博會(huì)之后，我也可以自豪地說(shuō)：“20xx年，我就是那成功、精彩、難忘的一部分!”
